Description
This violet-green swallow is capable of flying about 37 kilometres per hour (28 miles per hour for American readers), and unfortunately, I am just never fast enough to get the shot. Fortunately, I found a spot with plenty of swallows and nest boxes, which allowed me to get this gorgeous shot of the bird resting on a gardening pole.
